Sweet BBQ Rub

Serves: 450 g Dry Rub

Ingredients:

  • 250 g Light Brown Sugar
  • 50 g Paprika
  • 25 g ground Red Chili Flakes
  • 10 g Cumin Powder
  • 25 g ground Black Pepper
  • 100 g Sea Salt
  • 15 g Onion powder
  • 15 g Garlic powder

Direction:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix through.
  2. Apply to meats at least 2 hours before smoking or grilling.
  3. Keep in jar for future use for up to 3 months.

Chefs Tip: to make sure your rub keeps fresh, place one cinnamon stick in the jar to absorb the excess humidity.
